Over 300 people attend xmas conference 24/12/2011

Masjid Ibrahim & Islamic Centre’s conference on 24 Dec 2011 was on the theme of Isa (Jesus), his life and message, according to Islam. Over 300 people of all ages took part. Men were on the ground floor, while the women listened and watched the lectures by Shaykh Suliman Ghani, Dr Zahid Parvez, and Imam Abdullah Hasan from the top floor. Food and refreshments were served. There were stalls selling variety of Islamic good ranging from books to clothes. Masjid Ibrahim & Islamic Centre also launched the ‘Projector and Screens’ campaign. It will be raising around fifteen thousand pounds to buy and install projectors and cameras so that the sisters are able to view what is happening in the main hall during the friday sermons, classes and talks etc. Please donate as much as you can.
